![]() The articulation and design itself is jaw-dropping, at least for me. I’d recommend picking it up even if you haven’t seen it in the show or know its back-story. The extremely articulated hinge arms come in real handy when working with these things, though they can also be very restricting in some cases.Īll in all I gotta say, Buster is one incredible kit. Overall though, it gets what it’s supposed to do done. Sometimes the guns can stretch the limits of the hinge arms so much that the skirts pop off while it’s in position as well. They aren’t particularly tight and are bound to come off when you’re getting everything together. While you can have it wield the combined form with just one arm, it tends to look more impressive when its wielding it with two…Ī slight quirk I have with this is that the side-skirts, which hold the hinges that connect to the cannons, fall off rather easily. It should be fairly obvious that in these configurations you don’t get much articulation with the entire upper torso. It can take a good amount of fiddling to get the Buster’s arms and hands to line up just right with the cannon handles, but the result is always well worth it. ![]() This way you can adjust it so the Buster will be able to wield it efficiently no matter what. The individual cannons themselves can actually adjust their lengths in the sense that the trigger area moves up and down the shaft. Plug one gun into the other and you’ll get one form or the other. It only ever had missiles on its shoulders, but given the similar design of the knees I can see how this may lead some astray. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case, even on the original Buster in-series and in previous kits. There’s some common misconception by those who don’t know the Buster that well that its knees also open up to reveal missile pods. It’s standing stance is just so amazing…them arms…mmhhhmmmmm… Unlike the Blitz, the ankles could actually bend pretty far sideways, allowing it to maintain pretty wide stances. Weight and balancing are hardly issues unlike most kits, and the Buster is particularly impressive in its legs and ankles. I love all the G Machine kits for how incredibly stable they are. In that case, this kit comes with a smoke effect for the Gun Launcher.Once again, articulation just blows my mind. In Asia, the kit is re-released with additional effect parts as part of the HG Gundam SEED Effect Parts campaign. The kit was re-released in 2012 to conclude with the HD Remastered version of Gundam SEED, with more accurate colors, decals, and joint adapters for the Action Base.Current reissues of the Gunpla will feature a blue-colored Bandai Spirits logo.High Detail Manipulators 35 & 40 (and by extension, 90) can be used for this kit.The hand parts, action joints, & double-jointed legs from the HG Gundam SEED Custom Kit can be used for this Gunpla.Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers/marking decals (HD Remastered Version only) and if any, painted details. For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied/panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr.Buster Gundam can mount onto the Action Base via an included adapter.Combine into two different attachments. ![]() ![]()
